Blauer Zweigelt
A truly quaffable wine, and therefore a favorite among our regular customers right from the beginning.
Grapes, committed work in the vineyard and style are key.
Each of our wines excels for its elegance, suppleness and especially fine minerality. We try to elaborate the unique texture, delicate fruit and regionally typical finesse in each individual wine.
The bold, tannic structure of our top offerings needs some time in the bottle to marry with the fruit flavors. With extended aging, they will please the palate with suppleness and elegance.

A textbook Blaufränkisch from South Burgenland!
Dark ruby-red, highly expressive, exhibiting aromas and flavors of cherry, sour cherry and berries. Sourced from proven vineyards featuring heavy and deep soils, this savory, uncomplicated offering already unfolds its qualities when young.
Krutzler’s best selling wine!
An „old“ acquaintance that long-term Krutzler wine lovers like to remember. Since it has been frequently sought after, we have reintroduced this single-vineyard wine into our portfolio.
For long, the sleeper in our portfolio.
This single-varietal red is very elegant and succulent with dense fruit and an extra fine tannic framework. It is sourced from excellent vineyard parcels that have been family-owned for ages.
Like Perwolff, it is always a sell-out because of its high quality, yet low availability.
A wine that has significantly contributed to Austria’s red success story from its first vintage of 1992.
Awarded numerous times both at home and abroad, it is the flagship Blaufränkisch of the winery. Elaborately processed from 30- to 50-year-old vines growing in premium sites on the Eisenberg and in Deutsch-Schützen, this is the paradigm of a sophisticated Krutzler Blaufränkisch with typical South-Burgenland profundity.
Perwolff, by the way, is an old name for the village of Deutsch-Schützen – under this name the settlement was first mentioned in the chronicles in 1221.
This elegant, mineral Blaufränkisch comes from the Eisenberg, one of Austria’s most iron-rich regions.
The wine develops a distinct body with a long, spicy finish after maturing in a large wooden barrel for five months. The intense, highly recognizable berry aroma invites you to ponder about life, the universe and everything!
Grapes from the Ratschen vineyard are fermented in a small wooden barrel and create a very structured, expressive wine.
The Gemischter Satz Alte Reben from the 2017 vintage is proof that the Eisenberg not only provides the perfect conditions for red wine, such as Blaufränkisch, but also that excellent white wines can been grow here, too.
Proudly carrying the DAC label, it is the archetypical Eisenberg Blaufränkisch with its cherry to sour cherry bouquet, its delicately nuanced structure, and its refreshing acidity.
A top-quality wine – vinified with the utmost care and sourced from the best sites on the Eisenberg and in Deutsch-Schützen featuring up to 30-year-old vines.
Speciality! This Blaufränkisch was only fermented with natural yeast and then aged for six years in a large oak cask.
This very classy, expressive, elegantly fine and vigorously spicy character wine comes from old vines from the Weinberg vineyard.
South Burgenland “grappa”, although here it is called “Trebener” since time immemorial and as such has warmed the heart for generations.
It goes without saying that this spirit is made only of the best Blaufränkisch grapes. Being of high quality, it is aged in glass containers. You should activate your senses with it once in a while! Or try it after a serious snack.
This local grape variety was the starting signal for the new project. Short macerations times, raising sur lie in a used, oak barrel. Taut, fine tannins, forward structure, lively acidity, stimulating and profound.
Blaufränkisch and a little bit of Zweigelt, short contact with the mash and then directly into a used, oak barrel, makes for a quite unusual rosé, a wine strong in colour, exciting, refreshing texture and unique character.
Blaufränkisch in a different style: only a few days on the lees and a little bit of time in a used barrel make a delicate wine, with fine structure, gentle tannins, vibrating acidity and cool Blaufränkisch aromas.
Blaufränkisch & Welschriesling, spending the night on the lees and then raised in a used barrel – a rarity. Crisp acidity, scant structure, a light wine, yet serious with subtle spice and depth.
